No company is all good or all bad.
While the 401k match is impressive for such a small company, you don’t get that benefit until a year in. You do receive sick and community service paid hours. 40 each. The PTO will max at 3 weeks at 5 years. I have to believe it’s because they can’t hold onto employees and can’t afford to let people off work because it’s always short staffed.
The shifts are terrible. You work until midnight and have to be there at 7 am the following day. It’s exhausting. You are promised a lot up front, but it’s not followed through.
You will read a lot of people help out, which is true, but because the training program is weak at best. Maybe 3 weeks and doesn’t cover anything really on the actual job functions. However, if you aren’t a favorite- asking questions is frowned upon. There is a serious click problem. To the point that it made me sick to go into work. It’s mandatory to attend Tuesday AM meetings, even on your days off.
If you’re young, probably a good job to get to point a to point b in your life, however if you’re older with more responsibility, I’d stay away. You will not be able to keep up your own life and do this to management expectations. If you don’t work 6-7 days a week, you get bullied. I did.
