Definitely not. There was no drug test or background check. And people came in high and several people smoked on their breaks.

Not really. Just preventive care. Which is nothing.

Our Dublin, Ohio office did orientations. Its lasts about 45-50 mins. It's basically filling out your tax forms, signing off on company policies. The GM that hired us went over company policies also. I was hired as a 3rd shift Baker which requires 6 weeks of training. It wasnt until I was doing my first week of training that I was told by my trainer that whatever location will be your "home" store that YOU ARE THE ONLY BAKER AND ALL ALONE IN THAT STORE!! NO ONE ELSE IS THERE! Managers dont always tell you when the food truck are coming while your baking thinking your alone and you have a guy behind you telling you hes there! Or all of the sudden maintenance is pounding on the door and you have no clue who they are! Your told at orientation never open the doors after store closes but yet your all alone with these types of issues. It's not possible to just wait for them to leave. You have a bake to do and larger baked time is crucial!! Panera needs to be open when they hire night bakers that they will not have a "safety buddy" on shift after training is done!

Our Panera gives a 15.00 voucher for each shift. Water and fountain pop are free, however as a 3rd shift Baker tap water is all that's available unless you want to purchase bottled water using your voucher. Its usually easier to bring stuff in. Your the only one there at night until about 4:30/5:00. Bakers dont usually have time to sit and eat a meal. Usually just drinks.

Morning staff hates night staff with a passion and openly talks bad about them. The managers with talk badly about employees openly in feont of them. Managers do hardly anything when employees are being singled out for bullying. It is the most toxic work environment I've ever been in.

Im only getting 8-12 hours per week. I think Im a very good worker and doing a good job. I want to be part time around 20-25 hours though ..not sure whats going on ..now I am wondering if I am not liked or a lousy worker? a few of the people there are super abrasive and a few that are super nice so I cant get a read on anything. its very fast paced , they want 3 minute ticket times and its hard to do sometimes when you get 10+ items to make at once.

It's ok but it should more be organized and the training was good its really easy . But the teenagers that work there in the Florence location are nice but they profanity is horrible and they lazy.

They ask you about your resume pretty much. The only non-resume related questions were whether or not you liked to cook and what you cook. If you’re a first time highschool worker they will ask about school activities and why have a panera be your first job.

Answered

I just got hired at $9.25 an hour.
