It was a great interview. Unfortunately i didn't get the job most likely because the store opened up at 4:30am. Process was very quick. Applied on the 4th. Got called in for an interview Monday, to come in on Tuesday. Had the interview, very relaxing and normal conversation. Discussed the functions of what a Barista does. Unfortunately a little around 12 I received an email saying they were moving forward with other candidates. I was very surprised by the speedy email, only about an half hour later at the interview, when I was told it would be the "end of the day." Shame too, looked like a nice place to work at.

The shifts I got were usually 5 and a half hours so they could avoid giving us a lunch at 6 hours. You get a 10 minute break whenever the shift supervisor decides its your turn, but most of them are pretty nice about it if you ask politely. My main problem with hours was that one week I would have almost 30 hours but the next I'd suddenly be down to 15 hours so it was very hard to budget around that not knowing how much I'd actually be working.
